The first priority is, of course, Canine Hope so that’s what I’m going to talk about here. Canine Hope is the programme that started this social enterprise and Canine Hope is now getting priority treatment.
Our signature programme for survivors of rape and sexual violence is returning with a tetrad of offers. If we’re going to come back, we need to come back in style, right? We like a four-paw approach to life so why not come back with Canine Hope served four ways?
We want to make Canine Hope accessible to everyone and that has been the focus in deciding upon our way forward.
There’s a book. You knew that was going to be on the list, didn’t you? It was a book that inspired Canine Hope so giving you the opportunity to have a page-turning version of the programme was the logical next step. The book will be out later this year and you can follow the progress on our Instagram page.
There’s an online programme. This is an exciting development for us as we are offering a way for you to work through Canine Hope with Marie in the comfort of your own home. The bonus, for you, is that you don’t have to tidy up or make her a cuppa and you can pause her whenever you’d like to. You know how excitable she gets when she’s talking about all things Canine Hope! Marie is looking for a small group of people to work through the programme as beta testers so if you’re a survivor who knows that dogs are the difference that make the difference and you’d like to be the first to explore Virtual Canine Hope please email Marie on firstname.lastname@example.org.
There’s a tour. We will be launching our very own tour of one-day workshops with our canine co-tutors. Canine Hope, on the road. Our canine co-tutors will get the five-star treatment they always get when working with us and we can’t wait to see you. To find out more about how to access these events, you will need to be on our mailing list.
We can come to you. We will come to your venue or a venue of your choosing to deliver our workshop. If you’re a for charity or social enterprise working with survivors of rape and sexual violence, get in touch and we’ll talk about how to make this happen.
That’s enough to be keeping us busy for now and we have our first in-person session to look forward to in a few weeks’ time. We’re very excited about delivering that and for those of you who are here for the pictures of cute dogs, they will be shared on Instagram as we hit the road.
We’re excited about what the future holds and Canine Hope is at the heart of that future. If you’re on our mailing list, you’ll be the first to know about everything that’s happening.
